IT Opportunity Triangle for APS Students

Akron high school students interested in information technology careers can get a boost into college through a new partnership between three education institutions.
Akron Public Schools, Stark State College and the University of Cincinnati announced Thursday a way for students at Kenmore-Garfield High School to earn enough college credits in high school to be automatically admitted into Cincinnati’s IT program.
The program would save students a year’s worth of college tuition and set them up for a chance at a job during college through a Cincinnati co-op. Read more here >>.
