Dear Parent/Guardian:
The annual ACT Test Day is Tuesday, October 2, 2018. All students in grades 8-12 will be participating in testing on this day. Below is a description of the assessment that our students will be taking at each grade level.
-
Students in grades 10-11 will report to school to take the practice ACT. This is a paper/pencil test that will be scored and results will be shared with teachers and students. The report will identify students’ areas of strengths and weaknesses. Teachers and students can use this information to provide appropriate intervention and enrichment prior to the official test administered to all 11th graders on February 20, 2019.
It is expected that all students in grades 9-12 report to school and take the assessment that is described above for their grade level. They are to arrive at the regular school time, and the doors will open at
7:45 AM for breakfast.
The day will be shortened *October 2, 2018*. Following the testing, students will have lunch before being dismissed from school. Dismissal will begin at 1:30 PM and conclude by 2:00 PM.
Students who ride the van to school will be picked up and dropped off at their regular times unless parents make other arrangements for transportation with school personnel.
If you have any questions, please call the school at 330.848.4141
Sincerely,
Kathryn Rodocker
